Practical Research
The Practical Research module is designed to help students understand the research process and apply it in real-world situations. It focuses on developing students’ skills in formulating research questions, conducting research, and presenting findings. The module covers both qualitative and quantitative research methods, guiding students to understand the importance of research in generating knowledge, solving problems, and contributing to various fields of study.
Students will learn the steps involved in planning and conducting a research project, from identifying a research problem to gathering data, analyzing results, and presenting conclusions. They will also be introduced to various research designs, sampling techniques, data collection methods, and tools for analyzing data.
The module emphasizes ethical considerations in research and the importance of integrity, accuracy, and transparency. It encourages students to develop critical thinking skills and an ability to interpret data objectively, enabling them to conduct well-rounded research.
