Reading and Writing
The Reading and Writing module is designed to help students develop their proficiency in reading comprehension and writing skills. This module focuses on enhancing students' ability to understand, analyze, and interpret various texts while improving their ability to express ideas clearly and effectively through writing.
The module emphasizes the importance of reading as a tool for learning and personal development, guiding students through different types of texts, such as narratives, expository essays, persuasive articles, and informative texts. It encourages active reading strategies, such as summarizing, analyzing, and evaluating, to enhance comprehension and critical thinking.
On the writing side, students will be introduced to various writing forms, such as descriptive, argumentative, narrative, and expository writing. The module also covers the steps in the writing process, from brainstorming and drafting to revising, editing, and finalizing their work. Emphasis will be placed on organization, clarity, coherence, and proper use of grammar and vocabulary.
